Treatment for Fibromyalgia

I’m heading for my appointment in an hour, and I want to kind of know what to expect so I can do a little research.

PANDORA International Video Advocacy Contest – Fibromyalgia

I have been suffering from chronic pain for three years, and I’m only 16. Right now the doctors are looking at Fibromyalgia and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, though they aren’t very confident in what they might find. I’ve already had three b.lood tests, an X-ray, and an MRI. I still have yet to get another b.lood test, another X-ray, and a sleep study. I’ve also been researching lyme disease.
My symptoms include:
-Fatigue
-Headaches (tension and migrane)
-Muscle and joint pain
-Especially…. Back pain
-Shoulder pain
-Neck pain
-Swollen glands
-Depression
-Memory loss
-Loose joints
-Hyper-flexability
-EXTREMELY overly sensitive skin (I bruise from mosquito bites even when I don’t scratch.)
-Insomnia
-Unrestorative sleep (when I do sleep, even if it’s for 10 hours.)
-Bowel problems
-Stomach pain
-Bladder problems
-Weak muscles
-Knees sponteneously give out
-Under weight (even though I eat TONS)
-Twitching in upper body (and face on rare occasion)
-Restless legs
-Tremor

…Stupid character limit!!

I have all the symptoms for CFS and fibromyalgia. All my blood work comes up clean. Since I am a teenage girl, my doctors are trying to push depression although i don’t present the mental symptoms. My parents beleive it is more like CFS or fibromyalgia. How can i differentiate and get the correct diagnosis?

I just found out I have fibromyalgia. My mother has it too. It this disease inherited?
